TRAINING FROM IBB FOR YOUNG CYBER SECURITY OFFICERS
”Security Operations Center – Level 1 Analyst Training Program”, which was carried out in cooperation with Institute Istanbul İSMEK, IBB’s Regional Employment Office (BIO), İSTTELKOM, and Bilgi Birikim Sistemleri AŞ (BSS), has been completed.
The 96-hour training program, which started on October 7 by IBB (Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality), ended on November 18. 38 experts who successfully completed the program, to which 268 candidates applied, were given their certificates at Tech Istanbul Şişhane with a ceremony.
IBB Deputy Secretary General Zeynep Neyza Akçabay and IBB Subsidiaries Technology Group President Nihat Narin made the inauguration speech at the ceremony. IBB Human Resources Department Head Nurcan Alan, IBB Institute Istanbul ISMEK Coordinator Canan Aratemür Çimen, IBB Regional Employment Offices Coordinator Ebru Demir, ISTTELKOM IT Service Operations Manager Sinan Öztimur, and BBS General Manager Bekir Alp Sayın attended the ceremony and shared the importance of the project, expectations and work experiences with the candidates.
What Is the Aim of the Training?
This important social responsibility project in the field of information technologies aims to support qualified youth employment by providing job interviews with sectoral companies through IBB Regional Employment Office.
What Are the Topics of the Program?
General Concepts, Security Terminologies, Operating System Basics and Network Basics, Log Management and SIEM, Vulnerability Management, Pre and Post Incident Response Methods, Determining the Daily Security Level, Intrusion Detection Methods, and SOC Tools are the main topics of the training program.
