ISTTELKOM COMPLETED 2020 WITH THE HIGHEST REVENUE AND PROFITABILITY OF ITS HISTORY
IMM’s telecommunication company ISTTELKOM AŞ announced its 2020 annual report and financial results. The company left 2020 behind by reaching the highest revenue in the company’s history with a turnover of 119 million TL. ISTTELKOM General Manager Nihat Narin underlined that they saved 151 million TL for IMM with their work.
Despite the economic recession due to the effects of the extraordinary pandemic all over the world, Isttelkom left 2020 behind with financial results thanks to its digital-oriented strategy and new business model. Accordingly, ISTTELKOM completed last year by reaching the highest revenue in the company’s history with 50 percent revenue, 64 percent EBITDA growth and 119 million TL turnover compared to 2019.
Stating that they offer end-to-end Digital Transformation services to institutions, Isttelkom General Manager Nihat Narin said; “We have completed this period, where everyone has experienced the vital importance of the telecom industry once again, with a strong performance by successfully managing the strategic changes we have made and increasing digitalization needs.”

Narin, who stated that they attach great importance to customer satisfaction, continued with the following words:

Uninterrupted service for our stakeholders during the pandemic period has been our top priority. With our renewed company vision, we aim to be the most reliable business partner that will create a competitive advantage for our customers in their digitalization journey.”

Narin, who stated that the company used the existing resources efficiently during the pandemic period, emphasized that they have put into use 100 percent the capacity of the IMM Data Center, which was established by IMM with great investments and was idle with a 26 percent occupancy rate in 2019. Narin continued:
“We consolidated the data storage and IT services of IMM and its subsidiaries and prevented duplicate investments. With the efficient use of internal resources, we saved approximately 151 million TL. Within the scope of Smart Urbanism, we started to provide fiber infrastructure services to all telecom operators. We provided data security to institutions with penetration tests against cyber security risks that increase with remote working. We have registered our service quality by obtaining the world’s leading standardization documents to the IMM Data Center. Digitalization vision, sustainability, earthquake etc. Despite disaster situations, we have started the digital archiving processes of the data of IMM and group companies.”

Stating that they are determined to continue their success in the new year, Narin conveyed their future plans with the following words:
